Synplus Ltd (registration HE462701, Nicosia, Cyprus, contact@synplus.ltd) is the data controller for the processing described here.

This website is static pages with no server-side application. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics or tracking scripts, and loads no resources from any third-party domain: no content delivery network, no hosted fonts, no externally fetched favicon. Every page, stylesheet and image is served from synplus.ltd itself, from a single server operated for Synplus Ltd.

That server writes a log entry for each request, holding the date and time, the page requested, the HTTP status, the referrer and the browser user agent, with the requesting IP address shortened before it is stored, IPv4 to its first three octets and IPv6 to its first 48 bits. These entries are kept for 14 days. A full, unshortened IP address is recorded only where a request is blocked as abusive, erased after 2 days, or where it triggers a server error, erased after 14 days. This is processing of personal data under the GDPR, on the legal basis of legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f), in operating, troubleshooting and securing this site; it is not used for analytics or profiling.

Email sent to contact@synplus.ltd is delivered to a mail server operated for Synplus Ltd and read only by Synplus Ltd, on the legal basis of legitimate interest in answering enquiries, Art. 6(1)(f), or steps towards a contract, Art. 6(1)(b); incoming mail is received directly by that server and does not pass through any third-party relay or anti-spam service. Outgoing replies, which normally quote the enquiry they answer, are transmitted through Mailgun as a processor for delivery, handled in Mailgun's EU region under a data processing agreement, and are not used by it for any other purpose. Enquiry correspondence is not shared with any third party: the delivery relay named above acts solely as a processor on Synplus Ltd's instructions and makes no other use of it. An enquiry that does not lead to an engagement is deleted 6 months after the last message. Where an engagement follows, the correspondence is kept for its duration and then for the retention period that Cyprus law requires of the resulting business records.

You have the right to request access to your personal data, and its rectification or erasure, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in portable form, under Art. 15 to 21 GDPR. Requests should be sent to contact@synplus.ltd and are answered within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection of Cyprus.
